JAMES BAY TECHNICAL FOCUS

NOTTAWAY

Permit-in-Hand Technical Focus with Confirmed Sulphides

Nottaway is CDN Maverick’s current technical focus within James Bay. Historical drilling confirmed massive sulphides, while later geophysical reinterpretation points to stronger drill-ready targets.

TECHNICAL FOCUS

Nottaway is our current focus

WHY NOTTAWAY MATTERS

Nottaway gives the James Bay platform a clear technical focus: known sulphides, improved geophysical targeting, a drilling authorization, and a recommended follow-up program designed to test stronger conductors more directly.

Confirmed Sulphides

Historical drilling confirmed a 2.85-metre massive sulphide interval consisting mainly of pyrrhotite and pyrite.

Improved Targeting

Geophysical reinterpretation indicates several holes may have missed, passed above, or inadequately tested the strongest conductors.

Near-Term Catalyst

Drill-permitted follow-up program to re-test the strongest EM conductors, under an ATI authorization issued February 16, 2026 and valid for three years.

NOTTAWAY DISTRICT CONTEXT

Surrounded by active exploration

Favourable geology with district-scale VMS potential

Nottaway is located approximately 75 km north-northeast of Matagami, Quebec, within CDN Maverick’s broader James Bay platform.

TECHNICAL HISTORY & REINTERPRETATION

1

2015 SOQUEM DRILLING

5 holes totalling 875 metres.

2

MASSIVE SULPHIDES

Confirmed 2.85-metre massive sulphide interval consisting mainly of pyrrhotite and pyrite.

3

NON-ECONOMIC RESULTS

Reported 0.27% zinc over 4.5 metres, including 0.55 metres grading 1.1% zinc, 0.4% lead and 9.7 g/t silver.

4

REINTERPRETATION

Later geophysical reinterpretation indicates several holes may have missed, passed above, or inadequately tested the strongest modelled conductors.

5

NEXT-PROGRAM TARGETING

New data will directly test priority conductors with EM, gravity and drilling to aprox. 2,700m

RECOMMENDED NEXT PROGRAM (NI 43-101)

SURFACE & BOREHOLE EM

Define and rank priority conductors.

GRAVITY SURVEY

Refine structure and depth positioning.

HYDROGEOCHEMISTRY

Identify vectors and target pathfinders.

DRILLING

~2,700 metres to test priority targets.

The drilling intersected massive sulphides. One hole returned 0.15% zinc and 0.08% lead over seven metres. Another returned 0.27% zinc over 4.5 metres, including 0.55 metres grading 1.1% zinc, 0.4% lead and 9.7 grams per tonne silver. A later geophysical reinterpretation showed that some of the original holes may have been drilled in the wrong direction, passed above the conductors, or failed to test the main targets properly.

Additional conductive plates were identified north of the earlier drilling, including one modelled at approximately 500 siemens per metre. The strongest of those conductors remains untested.
